McGraw-Hill Construction Network for Products |
For several years, ASLA and McGraw-Hill have been providing Society members with access to the latest landscape architecture products through the Sweets Directory. That partnership was recently enhanced when McGraw-Hill launched its new service, the McGraw-Hill Construction Network for Products.
As part of this new service McGraw-Hill has worked closely with ASLA to create a landscape architecture community within the network that highlights products, projects, and people specifically related to the landscape architecture profession. The landscape architecture community features content provided by ASLA on award-winning projects from the ASLA Awards program, as well industry portraits written on past ASLA medal and firm award recipients. These articles, in turn, link back to the ASLA website, driving industry professionals directly to the Society’s content.
In addition to creating a presence for ASLA on the McGraw-Hill website, the Society has created a page on its website for members to search the Network for Products directly. Specifically, this page gives members direct access to a searchable database that includes:
- A directory of manufacturers with 10,000 listings
- 2,000 downloadable CAD details
- 6,500 Trade Names
- 3,400 downloadable 3-Part Specs
- 1,550 Product Catalogs
In addition to this new service, ASLA is working closely with McGraw-Hill on other database solutions which will add value to the ASLA website.
