Registration & Ticket Policies
Advanced Registration Deadline
Advanced Registration rates will be in effect for all
registrations received by August 27, 2007.
Registration Deadlines
- August
31, 2007: All mail, fax, and online registrations from
U.S. and Canadian residents received by August 31 will receive their
registration packets prior to the meeting. All international attendees
will be able to pick up their packet at onsite registration in The Moscone
Center.
- September 1, 2007: All registrations received on or after this date will be available for pick up at on-site registration in The Moscone Center.
How to Register
Online: All Professional and Student ASLA members may register by credit card online at www.asla.org, including purchase of Guest registrations and tickets. Online registration will be confirmed via email. Once the online registration has been submitted, you may access your original record again to make additional ticket purchases.
Mail or Fax: Anyone may register by mail or fax. Complete the registration form and submit with credit card information or check (payable to ASLA in U.S. Funds) for the total registration fee, plus any tickets or additional fees. Checks are not accepted with faxed forms. Incomplete payments will not be processed. Confirmations will be mailed within one week of receipt of payment. Purchase orders will not be accepted.
Ticket Policy
Only registered attendees may purchase tickets. All ticketed events are nonrefundable. Tickets must be purchased in advance or at onsite registration (based on availability) at The Moscone Center. Registrants may purchase unlimited additional tickets to all ticketed social events. Tickets will not be sold at the door for any event. Lost or stolen tickets are not replaceable. Meeting badges will be checked for all events. Ticket sales are limited to two tickets per full meeting registrant for Tours and one ticket per full meeting registrant for Field Sessions and Workshops. Guests are not permitted to purchase tickets for Field Sessions or Workshops. One-day registrants may only purchase tickets for the day that they are registered.
Cancellation Policy
ASLA will refund registration less a $65 processing fee upon written request received prior to Monday, September 17th. After September 17th, registration is not refundable. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Closing Reception & Dinner: Presentation of ASLA Honors
The Closing Dinner is a ticketed event. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door.
Guest Program Registration
Make plans to bring along a guest to enjoy the Annual Meeting to the fullest. Each Professional and Student registrant may register one guest for the Annual Meeting. Guest registration includes entrance to the EXPO Hall, a meeting bag, and one ticket for the guest tour. Access to general sessions is based on room availability. Education sessions are not included. International Landscape Architects, AIA, APA, and ULI Member Registration
As a professional courtesy, ASLA extends its member rates in the Professional registration category to non-member international landscape architect attendees and members of The American Institute of Architects, the American Planning Association, and the Urban Land Institute. Verification of membership may be requested at any time.
Children
Children 15 and older may register at the student rate and receive commensurate student member benefits including a one year student affiliate membership and the ability to purchase tickets for all events, including the Fellows Investiture Reception & Dinner. Children 14 and under may only attend the ASLA—Landscape Structures Gala and must be accompanied by an adult in the EXPO.

Press Inquiries
Members of the media must apply for press credentials to attend and cover the ASLA Annual Meeting. Approved media will receive a complimentary meeting registration and access to the ASLA press room. Registration Packets
Registration packets will include a meeting badge, badge holder, and all additional tickets purchased.
