REGISTRATION DEADLINES

  • Early Bird Registration rates apply to all registrations received by August 29.
  • Mail registrations must be received by September 23. After that date, registration may only be completed by fax, online, or on-site.
  • Fax and online registrations must be received by October 3. After that date, registration may only be completed on-site.

HOW TO REGISTER
Online:
All Professionals and Students (except one-day registrants) may register by credit card online at www.asla.org, and may purchase Guest and Premier Guest registrations and tickets online as well. Online registration will be confirmed via email. Once the online registration has been submitted, you may access your original record again to make additional ticket purchases through the Registration Update Form. If you are licensed in Florida, please include your license number.

Mail or Fax: Anyone may register by mail or fax. One-day registrants MUST register by mail, fax, or on-site. Complete the registration form and submit with your credit card information or check (payable to ASLA) for the total registration fee, plus any tickets or additional fees. Incomplete payments will not be processed. Confirmations will be mailed within two weeks of payment processing.

Purchase orders will be accepted only from federal, state, or local government agencies or educational institutions.

CANCELLATION POLICY
ASLA will refund your registration fee (less a $50 processing fee) upon written notification received by ASLA no later than September 12, 2005. After September 12, registration fees are not refundable. Refund requests should be sent to JoAnn Brown at ASLA, 636 Eye Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001; fax 202-898-1187; or email AM2005@asla.org.

TICKET POLICY
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets must be purchased in advance or at on-site registration (based on availability) at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale. Registrants may purchase unlimited additional tickets to all ticketed events, except tours, field sessions, and workshops. Tickets will not be sold at the door for any event. Lost or stolen tickets are not replaceable. Tickets will be collected and meeting badges will be checked for all events.

CLOSING DINNER COUPON TICKET EXCHANGE
All closing dinner coupons must be exchanged for a Closing Dinner ticket at on-site registration at the Ticket Exchange booth no later than noon, Sunday, October 9, 2005.

GUEST PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Each Professional and Student registrant may register one guest for the Annual Meeting Guest Program at the Premier Guest or regular Guest levels. Premier Guest registration includes participation in the education sessions, while regular Guest registration does not.

INTERNATIONAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS, AIA, AND APA MEMBER REGISTRATION
As a professional courtesy, ASLA extends its member rates in the Professional registration category to non-member international landscape architect attendees and members of The American Institute of Architects and the American Planning Association. International non-member landscape architects,AIA, and APA members must register by mail,fax, or on-site.

CHILDREN
Children under 15 may attend Camp ASLA, the Riverwalk Revelry, and the EXPO only. Professional registrants may purchase Riverwalk Revelry tickets for children 15 and under (maximum of six). Children 16 and older may register at the Student rate and receive commensurate Student benefits including a one-year Student Affiliate ASLA membership and the ability to purchase tickets for all Annual Meeting events.

REGISTRATION PACKETS
Registration packets will include a meeting badge, a closing dinner ticket coupon (to be exchanged), all additional tickets purchased, the Annual Meeting Abstract book, and an on-site meeting program. Packets may be picked up on-site at registration at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale during registration hours.
