Open Forum: Sustainable Site Evaluation: LEED and Beyond
1:00 pm-2:00 pm
Intermediate

Panelists will present a draft outline of a system for evaluating site sustainability in the tradition of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program. Presently, LEED can only be applied to sites occupied by buildings, but landscape architects need sustainability tools for conservation areas, recreation areas, transportation corridors, and utility corridors. Join the discussion and offer your feedback!

Rick Fedrizzi, President, CEO, and Founding Chairman, U.S. Green Building Council; Mike Abbate, Lucia Athens, Meg Calkins, ASLA.
