| 2003 ASLA Annual
Meeting & EXPO
October 30 - November 3, 2003 New Orleans, Louisiana HOTELS AND TRAVEL INFORMATION The room block this year features a variety of selections: business hotels, historic hotels, restored properties, and suite hotels.. Two locations are featured: near the convention center or near the French Quarter and Business District. A range of sleeping room rates is again provided for you including an upscale property with higher rates. ASLA hopes you will opt to stay in one of the hotels selected for this meeting. Every night an attendee stays in one of the conference hotels counts towards the total number of rooms used, a statistic reported to the city's convention and visitors bureau. These totals are used by future cities to determine the value of ASLA's business and to decide whether or not ASLA meets the specific number of rooms some cities (i.e. San Francisco and Washington, DC) require before allowing a meeting to be booked there. |
