Meeting & EXPO
October 30 - November 3, 2003
New Orleans, Louisiana
HOUSING PROCEDURES
Read the following procedures carefully to ensure you correctly
book your hotel room. These procedures allow you direct contact with the
hotel of your choice when making your room reservation, changing your
dates, or canceling your reservation.
-
Contact the hotel of your choice directly for room reservations;
no centralized housing bureau is being used. Use the reservation numbers
listed in each hotel’s description. If you wish to book 10 or
more rooms, contact ASLA at 202-216-2328 so permission can be forwarded
to the hotel for your reservation.
-
Indicate you are with ASLA or the American Society of Landscape
Architects when booking your reservation in order to receive the special
meeting rates.
-
ASLA’s room blocks and rates expire on September
30, 2003. Room requests received after September 30
or after the room blocks fill, whichever occurs first, will be accommodated
on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate for that time.
-
The room rates listed in the hotel descriptions do not include the
current applicable taxes of 13%. Please note these rates are subject
to change. In addition, each hotel must charge a hotel occupancy tax
based upon its number of rooms. Refer to the hotel descriptions for
the amount of this tax.
-
All properties require a one-night deposit to process and confirm
your reservation. You will provide this deposit via check or credit
card directly to the hotel.
-
Rooms may be cancelled and deposits refunded if rooms are cancelled
at least 72 hours before arrival date. Failure to cancel a room that
you do not use will result in charges to you from the hotel. Early
departure may also result in a penalty; check with the individual
hotel of your choice to learn its policy.
-
For your protection when making cancellations or changes, be sure
to obtain a cancellation/confirmation number from the hotel.
