& EXPO
October 30 - November 3, 2003 New Orleans, Louisiana LOUISIANA CHAPTER GOLF TOURNAMENT Tickets will be collected for all ticketed events. Anyone not presenting a ticket will be asked to purchase one at the door; any resulting double payments will be refunded after the meeting. Only those individuals presenting a badge will be permitted to purchase tickets at the door. This year’s Host Chapter Golf Tournament is being held on Thursday at the start of the meeting at the Audubon Park Golf Course with a 1:00pm tee time. The course is the city’s newest public course and combines over 100 years of history with the latest in golf course design. The Denis Griffiths’ design features contoured fairways, manicured Tif Eagle greens, four lagoons, and exquisite landscaping on a par 62, 4,198-yard layout set among 100-year-old oak trees. Located just minutes from downtown New Orleans, Audubon Park is on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line across from Tulane University and among some of the most beautiful homes in uptown New Orleans. The park was the site of the 1884 World’s Fair and the world-famous Audubon Zoo is located across the street from the golf course. Includes transportation,
lunch at the course, greens fees, and cart. Rental clubs are available
for $20 per day. |
