2002 ASLA Annual Meeting & EXPO

ASLA HOUSING PROCEDURES:

Read the following procedures carefully to insure you correctly book your hotel room. This procedure allows you direct contact with the hotel of your choice when making your room reservation, changing your dates, or canceling your reservation.

  • Contact the hotel of your choice directly for room reservations; no centralized housing bureau is being used. Use the reservation numbers listed in each hotel's description. If you wish to book ten or more rooms, contact ASLA at 202-216-2328 so permission can be forwarded to the hotel for your reservation.
  • Indicate you are with ASLA or the American Society of Landscape Architects when booking your reservation in order to receive the special meeting rates.
  • ASLA's room block and rates expire on September 18, 2002. Room requests received after September 18 or after the room block fills, whichever occurs first, will be accommodated on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate for that time.
  • The room rates listed in the hotel descriptions do not include the applicable taxes of 10.050%.
  • All properties require a one-night deposit to process and confirm your reservation. You will provide this deposit via check or credit card directly to the hotel.
  • You will receive your room confirmation directly from the hotel. Check it immediately to be sure all information is correct.
  • Rooms may be cancelled and deposits are refundable if rooms are cancelled at least 72 hours before arrival date. Failure to cancel a room which you do not use will result in charges to you from the hotel. Early departure may also result in a penalty; check with the individual hotel of your choice to learn its policy.
  • For your protection when making cancellations or changes, be sure to obtain a cancellation/confirmation number from the hotel.
