2002 ASLA Annual Meeting & EXPO

Education Sessions at a Glance

A meeting badge is required to attend the education sessions. E-mail addresses have been provided (where available) in the descriptions of the education sessions; feel free to contact those speakers to make inquiries about the sessions. The Interactive Workshops have limited seating due to the nature of the content and method of delivery, and pre-registration is required. Tickets will be collected at the door for these workshop sessions. On Friday, several Enhancement Workshops are offered which feature smaller class sizes and specialized topics.

Looking for a Way to Defer Costs for Attending the ASLA Annual Meeting?
Volunteers are needed to be Education Session Room Monitors.

ASLA is looking for interested students or young professionals to be education session room monitors. This is a paid position that can help defer costs for attending the meeting and is a great way to network with the speakers and other meeting attendees, AND you just might learn a thing or two in the process! Registration is not a requirement unless you plan to attend the EXPO, other education sessions or ticketed events. Responsibilities include preparing the rooms, handing out evaluations forms, and taking a head count. More detailed instructions will be provided to those participating.

If you would be interested in working as a room monitor during the Annual Meeting, take a moment to review the conference program and select the session(s) you feel would be the most beneficial to your particular interests. Please contact Diane L. Scheu, Manager of Meeting Programs, at (202) 216-2358 or e-mail at dscheu@asla.org. All sessions will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis and you will be paid a modest fee per session worked.
