Professional Interest Group Sessions: Tickets will be collected upon boarding the bus. Anyone not presenting a ticket will be asked to purchase a ticket at the door (pending availability); double payments will be refunded after the meeting. The bus will begin boarding at 7:45am. All on-site ticket costs will increase by $5 per event. Historic Preservation P.I. Group Mobile Workshop Note: Attendance is restricted to FULL conference meeting registrants ONLY. The first stop emphasizes horticulture at Filoli, a peninsula estate
owned by the National Trust. The restoration of the original orchards
is underway as is the restoration/expansion of the existing greenhouses.
The tour proceeds to a summer estate designed by Greene & Greene (Charles
Greene). This seldom-visited property showcases an adaptation in Arroyo
Stone of Hadrian's villa. Perhaps a mystery stop is next! The bus tour
concludes at the city park with two sites to visit. San Jose's Peralta
Adobe, built in 1795, is the last surviving structure from El Pueblo Era.
From Fallon House (circa 1855), an example of Victorian architecture,
enjoy a leisurely self-guided stroll (maps provided) back to the McEnery
