In the afternoon, a session hosted by ASLA focuses on how landscape architects can become more engaged in the LEED rating system and green building practices. Registration form. A fee will be charged for attending this session. LEED and Landscape Architecture Brainstorming Session A discussion and brainstorming session about the LEED Green Building Rating System and Landscape Architecture will be held on Friday, October 18th from 1:30-3:00 following a half-day USGBC LEED Workshop. The brainstorming session, moderated by ASLA's LEED Advisory Committee, is an opportunity for landscape architects to discuss experiences, ideas and issues for LEED site sections. Some items to be discussed are: potential revisions to site credits for LEED Version 3.0, site guidelines for USGBC's State and Local Tool Kit, LEED Residential Rating System, and the potential for a "Site-only Project" vertical market of the LEED Program. |
