ASLA Advocates Storm Capitol Hill
ASLA Advocacy Day 2014, the Society’s premier federal advocacy event, brought nearly 180 advocates from across the nation to Washington, D.C., where they conducted 226 congressional meetings on Capitol Hill. This year’s theme, Landscape Architects: Connecting Communities, offered advocates the opportunity to educate legislators on how the profession uses federal active transportation program funding to connect communities in their congressional districts and states.
