Tennessee
Design Competition – South Inglewood Rain Garden
The Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects is partnering with the Cumberland River Compact, Metro Parks, and Metro Water Services to sponsor a design competition for a rain garden in South Inglewood Park. The competition is intended to raise awareness about stormwater in Nashville, engaging designers with the community to create a garden that can educate residents, school children and park visitors on how easy it is to have in impact right in your own yard.

The competition is now open, with entries due by February 10, 2014. The winning designs will be selected in March of 2014 and celebrated with a reception at the Cumberland River Compact’s office at the Bridge Building on the Nashville Riverfront. In addition to the $500 prize for first place, the winning design will be constructed in April of 2014 with the help of volunteers in the community.
