CTASLA Presents “Reclaimed Water Sources for Sustainable Irrigation,” a continuing education program of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects

Location: AIA/CTASLA Offices, 370 James Street, New Haven
CEUs: Program registered for 3.5 CEU credit hours with LACES and AIA-CES.

This course presents an overview of the technologies used in reclaiming water for irrigation use and how they are applied in achieving LEED Water Efficient (WE) landscaping requirements. System designs and components comprising rainwater harvesting, stormwater catchment and retention ponds, and recycled wastewater systems will be presented. Case studies of recently installed irrigation systems using reclaimed water sources will be presented followed by a question and answer period.
