Boston
Vicki Carr, of the Boston ASLA Chapter office, produces AfterSchoolDIGEST for members of the AfterSchool Professional Network. She featured the following about ASLA’s green roof:
The American Society of Landscape Architects has developed an education program about green roofs for school-age children. The Roof is Growing can be used in classrooms (K-12), after school, and more. The website "will keep students captivated with its interactive pages and informative videos. It includes a movie on the four subjects, downloadable teacher and student workbooks for work in the classroom, and a 360-degree tour of the green roof on the ASLA headquarters in Washington.” (Funded by the National Endowment for the Arts)
Thank you for helping to spread the word, Vicki!
