Free JobLink Offer Ends in April
Firms receive one free intern listing during March and April.
During March and April, ASLA members may post one free intern position on JobLink. Summer internships are an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable hands-on experience while providing firms with extra help and prospective future employees. Many firms have already posted internship opportunities on JobLink, and ASLA is heavily promoting the service to students throughout the spring to increase the applicant pool.
Having never used JobLink before, I had no idea what to anticipate in terms of applicant response. I was (positively) overwhelmed by the number of applicants to my internship posting. Students and graduates from all over the United States have written to me, including someone in Australia. Not only did JobLink make it easy for me to promote the internship and access many talented candidates, but the posting gave my firm broad, national exposure I would have never been able to get otherwise.
