2009 President Elect Candidates

The following members have been nominated to the slate of candidates for the offices of 2009 president-elect; 2009-2010 vice president, finance; 2009-2010 vice president, information and professional practice; and 2009-2010 vice president, membership. The candidates are listed in alphabetical order by office. For the office of president-elect, click on each photo for a concepts and aims statement followed by a brief biographical statement. For the vice presidential offices, click on each photo for a brief biographical statement.
The vice presidential election will be held
on Saturday, May 10, during the Board of Trustees midyear
meeting, and the results will be announced the following Monday.
In the general election by the professional membership for
president-elect, voting will open on Monday, May 12, and close
on Wednesday, June 11 at midnight Pacific Time. The Tellers
Committee will convene on Friday, June 20, to review and verify
the election results. President Howard will then contact the
candidates and the results will be announced immediately thereafter.
LAND Online will provide continuing coverage of the election process as it progresses throughout the spring. Our coverage will include candidate biographies, Board of Trustees and Chapter Presidents Council presentations, and the LAND Online President-elect Candidate Forum.
