ASLA Announces 2008 Slate of Candidates
Candidates for three 2009–2010 vice presidential offices and the office of 2009 president-elect will square off in late spring and early summer.

The following members will comprise the slate of candidates for the offices of 2009 president-elect; 2009–2010 vice president, finance; 2009–2010 vice president, information and professional practice; and 2009-2010 vice president, membership. The candidates are listed in alphabetical order by office. LAND Online will provide complete election coverage in the coming months, beginning with the publication of the candidates’ concept and aims and biographical statements on February 19, 2008. The candidates for president-elect will also be participating in the LAND Online president-elect candidate forum in March and April, and the text of their speeches to the Board of Trustees in early May will appear in LAND Online.

The vice presidential election will be held during the Board of Trustees midyear meeting, May 9-10, 2008. Voting in the general election for president-elect by the professional membership will open on May 12 and will close at midnight PDT on Wednesday, June 11. The Tellers Committee will convene on Friday, June 20, to review and verify the election results.
