Support ASLA Fund Through GoodShop

Just in time for the holidays, GoodSearch has added “GoodShop” to its website. GoodShop is a tool that allows individuals to support their chosen charity while they shop online. This additional functionality creates another easy way for members to support the ASLA Fund. Before shopping online, visit the GoodSearch website and select the GoodShop icon. Select “ASLA Fund” as the designated charity. Use the drop down menu to select a particular category (books & media, computers & electronics, gifts & flowers, etc.). Click on the desired store logo from the list of participating online retailers and begin shopping. A percentage of the total sale is donated to the ASLA Fund by the retailer.

Many major online retailers are currently active partners with GoodShop, including Amazon.com, Target.com, Barnes & Noble.com, Overstock.com, Macy’s.com, Sears.com, 1-800 Flowers.com, BestBuy.com, and many others. The average donation is 3 percent of the sale.

To date, the ASLA Fund has made an estimated $150 from GoodSearch.com. While this number is impressive for the short time the ASLA Fund has participated, it can be much higher if all members use GoodSearch and GoodShop as they search and shop the Internet. Ask friends and colleagues to support the ASLA Fund as well by using the GoodSearch system of tools.
