Sadik C. Artunc, FASLA, has been appointed the new head of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Mississippi State University. Artunc has been teaching in the School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University since 1981. He has a BS and MS in forestry and forest engineering from the University of Istanbul and an MLA from the University of Michigan. His professional consulting involves large-scale planning and design with a focus mostly on recreation and tourism, resource planning, and conservation.

Courtney M. Bush, ASLA, has joined WilsonMiller’s Tampa, Florida, office as a Land Planner in the WilsonMiller Design Business Unit, which provides landscape architecture, planning, and urban design services. Bush is a graduate of Louisiana State University and previously served as a Land Planner for Ferris Engineering and Surveying LLC and Ferris Land Design LLC in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Jason Radcliff, RLA, ASLA, has been promoted to Senior Associate at TBG Partners, Texas’s largest landscape architecture and planning firm. Radcliff is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and has been with TGB Partners for seven years. Radcliff is currently working on a number of projects throughout central Texas.

In Memoriam

Warren E. Lauesen, FASLA, of Santa Clarita, California. A landscape architect and planner, Lauesen was active in leadership positions in the field. He served as president of ASLA and was a two-term president of the California Southern chapter of ASLA. Lauesen also served on the board of directors of the California Council of Landscape Architects.
