Letter from the (New) Editor

Drew Saunders is the new LAND Online editor and Dirt blogger.

Dear Reader:

As a longtime Dirt reader and neophyte landscape architecture and sustainability student, I am very happy to be at ASLA and LAND Online. I hope to continue the great work of my predecessor Dave Connell and to make sure that the ASLA website and this newsletter prove to be engaging, informative, and helpful to you, our members.

Drew Saunders is the new LAND Online editor, Dirt blogger, and web strategist.

2007 is shaping up to be an exciting time for us as we work on launching the new ASLA website, develop strategies for our Lobby Day on Capitol Hill this spring, and get ready for the Annual Meeting and EXPO in San Francisco in October. I’m looking forward to visiting the Bay area for the first time; I’ll be there with my digital camera in one hand and my podcasting equipment in the other!

Both the ASLA website and LAND Online work best when you are involved. Please continue forwarding emails, posting comments, sending announcements, awards, scholarships, good (and not-so-good) news, and everything in between to us, and we’ll let everyone else know about it online.

See you on the site!

Contact Drew at dsaunders@asla.org.
