Demonstration Project Will Bring Style to EXPO Hall
In Sustainability with Style display, Dean Hill, ASLA, will work with EXPO vendors and ASLA corporate members to create a sustainable residential landscape.
ASLA and Garden Design magazine are teaming up with designer Dean Hill, ASLA, host of the Do It Yourself Network's Grounds For Improvement, to bring some style and substance to the 2006 ASLA Annual Meeting and 43rd IFLA World Congress EXPO Hall. Hill will be designing and working with volunteers to create a live residential demonstration project—Sustainability With Style—that will explore stylish, elegant, and sustainable residential outdoor living spaces that bring kitchens, dining areas, family rooms, and even bedrooms outdoors.
The project, which will be on display in the EXPO Hall on Saturday, October 7, and Sunday, October 8, is a must-see for the latest in outdoor living elements including pavers, lighting, furniture, cooking and heating products, and much more. It will also provide attendees with a chance to see products from the EXPO on display in a real-world application. Companies and products that will be used in the display include:
