Drawing Board

Stoss Landscape Urbanism was recently selected from an international pool of 48 design teams as the winner of a design competition for the Erie Street Plaza along the waterfront in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. The proposed plaza features a flexible design that can respond to short- and long-term fluctuations in environmental conditions and use, as well as a bamboo grove that is partially sustained via a groundwater-fed steam system.

The plaza is scheduled for construction in fall 2006.
