CLARB Releases Dates for LARE
Multiple-choice exam sections will take place in April and October, with the graphic exam sections slated for June and December.

The multiple-choice sections of the Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE) are scheduled for April 4-6, 2006, and the Graphic Exams will be offered June 12-13, 2006, and December 4-5, 2006. Several ASLA chapters are sponsoring review sessions; details are posted on the ASLA website.

The last day to register for the April exams without a late fee is March 6.

The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) has selected Thomson Prometric to administer the multiple-choice sections of the LARE through its network of computer testing centers. Examinees can register for the next multiple-choice test (April 4-6, 2006) at www.clarb.org. Thomson Prometric has more than 4,000 computer stations at more than 400 test centers in the United States and Canada. The last day to register for the April exams without a late fee is March 6. Questions about the LARE, including administration, should be directed to the examinations department of CLARB at 703-319-8380. For 2006 CLARB has established the following exam dates:

Multiple-Choice Exam Sections (Sections A, B, and D)
April 4-5, 2006: Sections A & B
April 5-6, 2006: Section D
October 3-4, 2006: Sections A & B
October 4-5, 2006: Section D

Graphic Exam Sections (Sections C and E)
June 12-13, 2006
December 4-5, 2006
