Iowa ASLA
Chapter Awards Program Deadline Nearing
The award application date for the Iowa Chapter Awards is February 28, 2006. Members who did not get an application or need another one should contact Chris Seeger at cjseeger@iastate.edu. The awards dinner will be April 20, 2006, and will cap off a charrette at the Iowa Arboretum in honor of Professor Dyas. Plant walks and a garden design project with high school students are also scheduled for this event.

Lobby Day
Lobby Day has been scheduled for April 4, 2006. It will be the standard breakfast event it has been in years past.

Regional ASLA Spring Conference
Plans are progressing for this event, which will be held May 18–19, 2006. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. This is shaping up to be one of the best events the chapter has ever hosted.

Indiana ASLA
The L.A.R.E. Review Session is scheduled for Saturday February 25th, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Purdue University Horticulture Building.

The 2006 IPL Mayor’s Lunch for Parks will be held March 9, 2006 at the Westin Hotel. Charles Jordan will be the keynote speaker. Jordan is known worldwide for his commitment and leadership in the conservation movement.  Click here more information.
