Have you ever admired beautiful photographs of award-winning designs in Landscape Architecture or other publications, then visited the site for yourself and had the above reaction?

I have. Over the past few years, in fact, I have come to a conclusion about the use of photography in landscape architecture: Commercial photographs of designed places often do not match the experience of being in those places.
