Charge and Responsibility
Advise LAM with regard to editorial, design, and quality; evaluate and revise, if necessary, the LAM editorial mission, particularly as it pertains to the role of the publication as a vehicle for communication regarding the profession of landscape architecture to both internal and external audiences; periodically, conduct a review and evaluation of current LAM editorial policies; report to the ASLA Executive Committee on the degree to which editorial content in LAM has met the approved editorial policies, and recommend changes in those policies and other matters related to the editorial content of the magazine; read and review each issue of LAM to assure compliance with approved editorial policies and provide the editor with a monthly written or oral commentary on editorial content; and assist LAM staff with editorial ideas.

Reporting
Reports on committee activity are included in the Program and Operations Reports prepared quarterly for the Board of Trustees by the executive vice president and staff liaisons.
