Charge and Responsibility
The purpose of this task force is to identify/define ASLA’s appropriate role in disaster response situations; to explore the long-term feasibility of establishing one or more “disaster response teams;” and to address the significant organizational, budgetary, legal, and other issues associated with assembling, managing, and deploying such team(s).

Reporting
Reports on task force activity are included in the Program and Operations Reports prepared quarterly for the Board of Trustees by the executive vice president and staff liaisons.
