Current Members and Organizational Characteristics
The president chairs the education advisory committee for the annual meeting that occurs in his/her presidential year and appoints members to fill vacancies occurring in that year. Members serve three-year terms. Committee composition reflects the makeup of the profession at large, i.e., approximately 80 percent private practice, 16 percent public practice, and 4 percent academic practice, and includes a LandTech chair and a member of the host chapter committee who is not serving concurrently as a host chapter committee chair.

Charge and Responsibility
Make recommendations to staff for invited continuing education sessions. Review, evaluate, and select the balance of the educational content from the call for proposals.

Reporting
Reports on committee activity are included in the Program and Operations Reports prepared quarterly for the Board of Trustees by the executive vice president and staff liaisons.
