Developers continue to be the largest client group served by landscape architects, with private homeowners coming in as a close second. Services delivered through architecture firms are third. This rating is fairly consistent with the 1997 findings, though the question was restructured to provide better detail on the private sector clients. Reflecting the overall increase in public sector work, increases in city/urban clients and the federal government are responsible for most of this increase.
