Lessons from the last recession include a desire to achieve a better balance between public and private sector work, which apparently is being achieved. In interviews, a number of firms report hesitancy to be too dependent on the developers and to cultivate long term relationship with public sector clients, giving them grater stability as the economy goes through its cycle.
