The White House and President's Park Overview

Hours: The park, except for the White House grounds, is accessible 24 hours, seven days per week. Tours of the White House can be arranged through a visitor’s congressional representative.  Typically in April, the White House garden is open to the public for viewing during a free ticketed event.

President’s Park is 82-acres and comprises the White House, which is located on Pennsylvania Avenue, across the street from Lafayette Square. The White House overlooks the Ellipse toward the National Mall and the Potomac River beyond.
