Location(s): Michigan

Description:

The Call for Ideas for the 2023 National Brownfields Training Conference is now open! Submit your proposals for panels, town halls, roundtables, topic talks, or training workshops for Brownfields 2023 in Detroit, Michigan.

The Brownfields Conference planning committee is looking for dynamic sessions that will explore the latest and greatest tools, methods, trends, and case studies in brownfields redevelopment and revitalization. This year will feature seven new tracks to explore the evolving brownfields landscape, with topics like Climate Change and Resiliency; Environmental Justice and Public Participation; Housing, Equity, and Minimizing Displacement; and Assessment and Cleanup Approaches.

We invite you to submit your ideas for engaging educational sessions that encourage conversation and participation from your fellow attendees. A great session will motivate brownfields stakeholders to engage, learn, and share their experiences and knowledge of community revitalization challenges and solutions. If you have a brownfields success story or knowledge and experience in brownfields topics, this is your chance to share it with your colleagues.

Please carefully review the Call for Ideas Submission Guide before completing your submission.

The Call for Ideas will close on February 6, 2023 at 11:59pm ET.
