Chad D. Danos, FASLA, is a CLARB Certified Landscape Architect with 21 years of professional experience in both the public and private arena. With a focus on site design, development, and community planning projects throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South, he has planned, designed, and realized the implementation of numerous public parks, institutional campuses, business/retail market centers, and community town plans. Danos has positioned his landscape architectural practice as a leader throughout Louisiana in stormwater management and sustainable design.

Danos recently completed an eight-year term on the ASLA Board of Trustees and service on the Government Affairs Advisory and Licensure Committees. He represented ASLA on the front lines in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina/Rita, the BP oil spill, and at the AIA for Haiti Summit. He is an advocate for the advancement of landscape architecture and has served on local committees in strengthening landscape and stormwater codes. He is the sole landscape architect on Louisiana’s licensing board and continues to educate and defend our right to practice.
