Sierra California Chapter —

Name of activity: Career GPS 2009 Career Exploration Week, Twin Rivers School District

Brief description: Career planning event for high school and middle school students from 15 schools. Events were held 3 different days at three different locations. The California Sierra Chapter set up a table at the events, and handed out information about Landscape Architecture, including the brochure developed by ASLA National. Much to our surprise, many of the students at Grant High School knew what landscape architecture was, they have a class in it.
