Program Overview
Earn 21 Professional Development Hours
Professional development hours (PDH) is the term that ASLA and the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES™) uses to describe how much credit a course carries. PDH is listed with each session description of the annual meeting that qualifies for continuing education. Sessions that have been registered with LA CES, AIA CES, AICP and the Florida Board of Landscape Architecture are indicated as such using the abbreviations from the key below. LA CES is authorized to approve providers by the New York State Board for Landscape Architecture. However, all courses approved by LA CES may not meet the subject matter requirement or the course format requirement in New York. For more information, contact the New York State Board for Landscape Architecture at 518-474-3817.
Following the meeting, ASLA will send attendees a certificate providing proof of the PDH earned during the annual meeting. The exact number of hours accepted for licensure purposes may vary by state, but ASLA has made every effort to structure educational opportunities that adhere to the most widely acknowledged guidelines of state registration boards requiring continuing education.
